Safe Ride Services, Inc., a division of First Transit, is the premiere provider of non-emergency medical and specialized transportation services.

Established in October of 1989, Safe Ride has been providing safe, reliable ambulatory, wheelchair and stretcher transportation to tens of thousands of passengers annually.

We perform roughly 500,000 trips each year driving more than 10,000,000 miles. That averages out to 52 trips performed every hour of every day or nearly 1 every minute.

Our fleet rolls its collective wheels the equivalent of once around the world, every day! That's an average of 28,000 miles a day, 1,200 miles per hour, 20 miles every minute, 1/3 of a mile every second of every day.
